Wonderfully and annoyingly there are so many gorgeous places to visit in the world, that narrowing down your choices can be tough. Luckily there are some classic choices laid out for you below. Wow! Is there anywhere more stunning than majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains? With over 180,000 km² to cover, there are more than a few chances to get that perfect shot. If you are nature and landscape lover, then you will adore photographing this location. It’s full of blue lakes, snow-capped mountains and green pine forests. Which make for the most stunning contrast of colours in your pics. You can expect to see elk, bears, moose and mountain goats if you are lucky.
Now on to the urban area of Berlin. One of the most interesting things here is that the difference between the historical elements of the city and its new vibrancy. You can go from viewing the Brandenburg gates and the Jewish memorial to seeing modern street art easily.
You don’t have to choose between them either, use your photography skills to take a picture of both and even picture with both in. As there are several fragments of Berlin wall left they have been decorated with graffiti and murals.
If you are pining for more of a desert island vibe for your images, then head to Soneva Fushi, in the Maldives. Bright azure ocean surrounds this small luxury getaway. There are plenty of opportunities for some stunning shots on the white sandy beaches here. Or take some of the quaint cabins that serve as accommodation on the island.
Of course, no true photographers album would be complete without the wonderfully romantic city of Paris. Night shots are particularly popular here, as many of the most important monuments are light during the darker hours. Get the obligatory shots of the Eiffel Tower and Moulin Rouge, and then why not explore some of the flea markets for images that are a bit more eclectic? Or how about sampling some of the local alfresco atmosphere, and combine some people watching with taking shots of French cafe life?
Great Barrier Reef
The beautiful Great Barrier Reef in Australia is on nearly all photographers wish lists. You can get some beautiful shots above water of the great expanse that makes up this area. Of course, for some of the shots you want, you are going to need to take some underwater gear. It is a veritable underwater jungle of life down, there, and you can expect to see fish, sharks and even manta rays on a dive! There’s the stunning coral that you can photograph as the water is so clear her as well too.
