You don’t have to have a big garden to add colour to your outside space. Like us, many people have tiny back gardens and shared driveways where the car is king of the urban jungle. As much as we like and need our cars, we also want colourful plants to brighten our days. We have a tiny garden in front of our dining room window, however it is solid clay, shady and more moss than grass. We took the grass up and replaced it with small slow growing conifers, it was a success, but as much as we like it, its all green.
We both love gardening and growing things, however somehow my husband Ritchie has taken over the front. He decided to buy some garden troughs to sit on the wall between us and our neighbour.
